Welcome to The Hummingbird Picnic

This site is a labor of love. It started with my fascination with hummingbirds, and my desire to attract more hummingbirds to my yard.

I started researching about hummingbird food, what foods hummingbirds like and don’t like, the best types of hummingbird feeders, and what I could do to provide an ideal picnic spot for the tiny birds in hopes of encouraging them to stick around awhile.

I’ve learned so much about these wee feathered wonders I want to share the information with others.  This site provides detailed information about hummingbird food, hummingbird feeders, hummingbird nectar recipes, and the steps you can take to attract hummingbirds to your own backyard.
